MISSION STATEMENT

We are a collective of young writers and editors providing fellow young creatives a collaborative community, as well as a digital platform to showcase their work. We support writers and editors, especially those who are navigating the beginning of their careers. What does this mean? For writers: an opportunity to work closely with a dedicated editor to create something they’re passionate about. For editors: a chance to develop writers on projects they’re excited about, from conception to final piece. For everyone: a community to find creative partners, and a platform where their work can be published and presented to a growing, engaged audience.

ABOUT tk.collective

tk.collective is two things: a community and a publication. Through the publication we are facilitating collaborative connections in a more structured process, and with the purpose of showcasing this work to a wide audience. On this publication, we have built a space where writers pitch their work to a team of committed editors. Editors and writers work one-on-one through an extensive writing and editing process, seeing the writer work from pitch to finished product. The work will then be published on our website (writers can publish the work elsewhere as well) to a growing and dedicated audience.
